Our Practice
Atlanta Eye Care operates three divisions in Metro Atlanta. For more than seven years, Windward Eye Care has assisted its patients through the dedication and service of Drs. Thomas Arey, Sean Alexander, and Michael Walker. Drs. Arey and Alexander, graduates of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, in conjunction with general manager Robbie Hall, formed the practice at a time when Windward Parkway was somewhat devoid of businesses. Although the Doctors weren’t familiar with the retail side of an eye care facility, Robbie was equipped with more than 25 years experience in the field.
After marked growth, Windward Eye Care tapped Dr. Michael Walker, also a graduate of UAB, to usher in the opening of a second practice – Cumberland Pointe Eye Care. It was during this growth that Drs. Arey and Alexander began working alongside with Dr. James Lundy and would see his patients as well as refer patients.
With a 29-year practice serving the community, Dr. James Lundy approached Windward Eye Care about the possibility of joining practices. Dr. Lundy’s philosophy of fostering the Doctor/Patient relationship is based on reputation and work ethic. Windward Eye Care has cultivated a similar philosophy in the Windward area and brings to the table a wealth of knowledge of new and developing technological advancements in the eye care industry.
